Plan a Trip

Let’s make this happen! You’ve gathered your posse and you’re just about ready to slip into the most outrageously coloured ski gear you can find, but before you book your trip, make sure you have all your bases covered.

First things first, choose the resort that’s best suited to the kind of snow holiday you’re after. Take a look at our
resorts page to find which resort is your perfect match. Once you’re locked and loaded, check out the resort website for the latest snow reports and accommodation rates.

By this point in the planning process, you’ll be gripped by snow-anticipation and excitement, but focus just a little longer and consider your
equipment. Think about what activities you’d like to do while you’re at the snow – snowboarding or skiing, perhaps both? You’ll need to hire, borrow or buy some of this equipment, so make sure you organise this with the hire place or friends before you head off.

You, or some of your group, may need
lessons once you hit the mountain. Even if you’ve skied or boarded before, a little refresher in the basics can go along way in helping you get your snow legs back. Be sure to organise any lessons before you arrive at the snow as they’re often booked out quickly during peak times.

The last thing to remember is to travel safely, whether it’s by car, plane or bus, and be sure to give yourself plenty of time to make the journey without rushing – the snow isn’t going anywhere, until spring, at least.
